parapelvic renal cyst

So I'm new to the forum.

Im in my 3rd semester working toward my Associate's in Nursing. I go to clinicals 3 times a week and have extensive paperwork on my patients when I get home.

My patient was diagnosed with a parapelvic renal cyst, and I cant for the life of me, find anything that discusses the etiology of renal cysts. So if anyone wants to offer an in-depth approach as to how these cysts form, please indulge me.
