polyp on bladder

4 years ago when I had blood in my urine , I had ultrasound. everything checked out ok.. but was told I had a small benign polyp... they said to do nothing.. not to worryabout it. How can they tell its benign without biopsy? I have not had any other problems and my kidney samples never had blood again. Just wondered if I should have polyp removed in your opnion.

Bladder polyps are growths in the lining of the bladder and may be asymptomatic or may present with painful or frequent urination or bleeding.
