how bad is a creatinne level of 1.4
is it common after angioplasty
Avatar_dr_f_tn
Hello and hope you are doing well.

I suppose you are referring to creatinine levels. The normal ranges are 0.5 to 1.0 mg/dL (about 45-90 μmol/l) for women and 0.7 to 1.2 mg/dL (60-110 μmol/l) for men. So, a value of 1.4 is on the higher range. The levels are raised in kidney disorders. Creatinine blood levels can also increase temporarily as a result of muscle injury. It may not be related to angioplasty.

Hope this helped and do keep us posted.
