Hi,
It is good to hear from you again. Yes, it is better that a kidney specialist check you further and that the Glomerular Filtration Rate (GFR) is measured to determine your  level of kidney function. The earlier kidney disease is detected, the better the chance of slowing or stopping its progression.Do keep us posted with your result. Take care and best regards.

HI Doris,

How are you?  What did your nephrologist say about the growing mass? Were there tests done and how were the results? WIth regards to your pain, try to sleep on your left side if  it hurts too much on the right side.  Warm compress or over-the-counter pain medications may help provide relief.  If the pain is worsening and it becomes more difficult to do your normal activities, do not wait on your appointment and have it checked right away.

Take care and keep us posted.
