symmetrical bruising

Hi, I'm a 28 yr old male and I've been diagnosed with high blood pressure and on meds for it.. (the second type of blood pressure was often well over 100. I had one test done and they found protein in the urine, but the next one there wasn't any, so they don't suspect it was significant. But recently I've developed these kinds of symmetrical bruises on my abdomen, one on each side. There are two sets of them, and two more what my legs meet my pelvis. Any reason to suspect this could be related to something with the kidneys? Thanks.

I am having the same symmetrical bruising just as you described above. Did you ever figure out what caused this? My bruising slowing appears and then grows daily on both sides of my hips around my torso. I also have them from my pelvis down my thighs. Also right behind both knees.

I am on a low carb diet and just had my blood work done. Everything looked perfect with my platelet levels. My ketones were 2+....

I'm so curious how things turned out for you as your post is from so long ago!
