ultrasound results question

hi im amy i got my renal ultrasound results back today and i don't understand them i would like some help.  i have 1.8 times 1.9 times 2.6 cm anechoic fluid in the lower portion of the left kidney  it appears to taper when scanning from the lateral to medial position(larger laterally than medially) a fluid collection in the lower portion of the left kidney appears to be part of a slightly dilated lower pole collecting system rather than a focal cyst. what dose all this mean it it normal  and how much fluid is in their. what should and can be done about it. any help would be nice thanks. i did have a right nephrectomy in 2010 removing my right kidney it was small and  a very small artery and it was narrowed. please help me understand my results ty.

Hi,
What are the symptoms present? The fluid collection may be caused by inflammation, infection or other kidney issues. It is best that you have this checked by your doctor for proper evaluation especially if you have only one kidney left. Take care and do keep us posted.
