uriflow for kidney stones

Has anyone tried uriflow to dissolve kidney stones? And did it work?

I was under the impression that it helps pass stones 50% faster.  It was created to help men who have trouble urinating.   I don't believe it dissolves stones.  I do know only to take it once a day after dinner. It is prescribed for stone sufferers both male and female.  Hope this helped somewhat.  Co-stone sufferer

I dont have any specific experience with "Uriflow", however I am a bit suspicious as the website had vast claims on their products effectiveness of chemically breaking down the stones--The reason being, there are many different types of stones, each with its own chemical composition. Some form in a low pH, some in a high pH, some are formed by products of normal urine production, others are a result of metabolic abnormalities. To me its like they are selling a vehicle transmission or something that fits ever make and model of car... its just not going to happen.

My husband is in his mid-40s and has had severe problems with kidney stones. He's had several lithotripsies and they never seemed to work. I orderd three bottles of Uriflow and he took them daily -- one at breakfast and one at supper as the directions indicate. After a few weeks of taking the Uriflow, he quit passing the large stones he had been passing. He ran out of Uriflow and I tried to order some more. I Googled Uriflow and found several places that advertised the product but, after contacting them, found none had any in stock. I found a seller on eBay and got the product within three days of ordering. I do not know the chemical composition of my husband's stones -- I believe they are calcium oxylate, or something like that, but Uriflow DOES work for him. Perhaps you should try it just to see if it works. Cost is between $140 - $160 for three bottles. Small price to pay to see if something can relieve your pain. And, if Uriflow does help you, then it was worth it! Hope this helps.
