How is your mother? Theoretically, there is no absolute contraindication to dialysis therapy. However, relative contraindications to dialysis therapy include advanced malignancy, Alzheimer’s disease, Multi-infarct dementia, hepatorenal syndrome, advanced liver cirrhosis with encephalopathy, hypotension, Terminal illness or organic brain syndrome.
