Per your last post, getting a second opinion might be something you seriously want to consider, especially since it sounds as though you've lost faith in your present Urologist and even your PCP. Good luck and we wish you all the best.
I still have blood in my urine so they want to do a cystoscopy. They did another urine culture which says (see below) I do not think that shows anything. They did not seem to have answers as to why I have blood in my urine, they said "I don't know". I asked if it could be kidney stones, they said "I don't know". I called to confirm that the culture results(see below) were nothing to be concerned about but the nurse said they didn't even look at them and if there was something they would call back on Wednesday? I don't think my problems are from a UTI so I am not concerned about the culture, but I never saw the strep mentioned in any of my other cultures so I was curious. I have a bad vibe about this Urologist Office so I think I will going elsewhere or nowhere. Several people have told me that before a cystoscopy they should give you antibiotics to prevent infection and offer something for the pain or to relax to. They do not do that at this office. I have no idea why my doctor referred me here, but I am about to just be done with it all. It took them 4 years to figure out my gallbladder was not functioning. I do not want to waste any more of my time or money chasing for results. I am taking Motrin for the pain and a natural sleep aid so I can get to bed. I think I will accept that as good.

Thank you. I see the urologist on 4/23. I will update the post once I get some more information.
I'm very sorry to hear that you're having so much pain and problems. I would strongly suggest that you make that appointment with a Urologist that your PCP suggested and see what information he/she can give you after their examination and possible Cat Scan. You need to see a professional to clear this problem up and all the guessing from a non physician will not help you at this point since you obviously do have some kind of problem. Whether or not it is kidney stones appears to be up in the air at this point but whether or not it is, you definitely need to get this resolved for your own well being. and health. I'm not trying to duck and dodge here, but I'm just being honest for your sake.
