Lower pole 7mm stone

UK citizen using NHS treatment
I about to have ESWL for a 7mm stone i the lower pole of my left kidney, how long is a lithotriptor session  what is the success rate of stone clearance of lower pole stones and how many attempts will they have before opting for surgery.
