kidney stone surgury

I had surgery yesterday and was unsuccessful in retrieving or blasting the stone....I now have a stint in for the next 2 weeks and they are goin 2 try again in a week ....I was told I would have some discomfort when I went pee now due 2 the stint but some discomfort and what im going thru are 2 different things.....like WOOOOW  im almost afraid 2 pee but if I wait 2 long I gotta pee longer so It hurts longer.....im on Flomax but if the stint is placed in my ureater 2 expand it why does it seem harder 2 pee now than b4 my surgery.....does it burn because of irritation 2 my ureathra or has anyone dealt with this issues!!! go into surgery expecting 2 feel better at least somewhat and now I still have all the pain from the stone plus this other  stuff.....is it possible that the stint in expanding and the stone is possibly making its way thru now or what!!  I never got 2 see the dr after surgery last night so im full of these unanswered question any help would be much appreciated ?  thx

You are in pain because of your Dr going in and out of the interior of the shaft of your penis to perform that surgery and irritating it badly. I had the same surgery about 3 months ago and experienced the same thing. It is like everytime you urinate your penis is on fire and it burns like you are uurinating pieces of glass too! Slowly it will get better and within about 3 days you should be pretty much over that extreme burning sensation when you urinate..
