Help--too malnourished for lap band removal

by gel2, Jul 30, 2009 02:48AM
My daughter had lapband about 3 years ago. She has had 3 revisions. She has now lost 140 pounds. The problem is that she is malnourished and has lost a job because of being unable to work. We are tryint to help her BUT no job, no insurance and one doctor told her that she would not be able to get well from surgery because of her malnourishment. Does anyone have any ideas about how to help her regain her health? From getting nourished again to help with band removal. I would appreciate it so much. She has a young child and I am afraid of what is going to happen if she does not get help. Thank you.
