What is causing this pain?

Lap band surgery Dec 27, 2007. Since last November have had pain after saline fill. Have determined there is a leak somewhere. Surgeon doesn't know why I am having pain (like an ice pick) in left shoulder and at waistline on left side. Have had endoscopy, colonoscopy, upper G.I.(although never when I am in pain). Pain seems connected somehow with breathing. Cannot breathe deeply-the more I inhale the worse the pain. Anyone else have this reaction. In bed on pain meds for the last week. Am afraid this may be more than leaking port. Cannot find anyone else having same symptoms. Peg
