I am in the 3rd stages of kidney failure, due to high blood pressure. I want to lose weight.

Lap band surgery is a lifestyle chage and it is a major change. Food portions decrease dramaatically. Go to your md and get some information on lap band surgery and then speak to some surgeons as lap bands are not the only option for weight loss.
