I was told by 3 radioligist that the mulible spleenic noduals in my speen was lymphona, but when I went in for the biopsy they didn't get anything and said the spleen is hard to biopsy because it is so vasular. I have been juicing and cleansing and eating a vegitarian raw foods diet and have seen improvement in my symtoms but still have pain in my spleenand  my MRI was unchanged after 3 months. The oncologist wants to repeat the MRI next month and keep an eye on it. My question is, is there any one out there that can successfully biopsy the spleen without removing the spleen? Without a biopsy they can't tell me the type or stage.

I just had CT scans of head, neck and chest looking for enlarged lymph nodes. My mother has CLL, which increases my risk for lymphoma, my father has a multinodular goiter, so do I along with a solid nodule on my thyroid, so that increases my risk as well. My CT scans are clean, I just go back in July for another ultrasound of my thyroid to watch for nodule growth.
I will look into other causes of spleen enlargement for you and see if I can't help!

I don't have any other Lymph node involvement. Did Dr.s think you had Lymphoma?

My understanding is that to get decent tissue samples, they do have to remove it. The fact that it's unchanged after 3 months is most likely why your doc is going to watch and wait.
Do you have any other lymph node involvement?
