Bone Pain

Okay I do not believe I have Leukemia, but every time I look up this symptom I find Leukemia. I am hoping to get the bottom of my problems and would like to ensure that bone pain is the best description for what is occurring to me. I have two types of pain that seems to come from my bones or at the very least very deep in the muscle. One is a aching that leaves my legs feeling extremely cold. To the point of me laying in very hot water to try and get some warmth. My legs will turn red from the heat and warm enough that I can at least tolerate the chill. And then on occasions I experience a very fast radiating pain that feels as though a knife is pushed through the bone and moved in one direction or another. When this one happens I want to apply pressure for some reason. Not sure if it really helps get rid of the pain or not, because I always grab out of instinct. I guess I should mention the aching was only in my legs, but has started bothering my fingers also now and occurs on both side at the same time. The radiating pain can occur just about any where in my limbs. Hands, fore arms, upper arms, feet, shins, and thighs. When this happens it is in only one location at a time and my only happen once or several times over the course of ten minutes or so. If anyone has experienced anything similar to these and has any clue what it could be please let me know. Also if this does not sound like bone pain, please let me know what you think it may be. Thanks in advance.

I'm having pretty simliar issues- my doctor hasn't diagnosed me at all- and there are plenty more symptoms than just the pains! All of my blood work to date has been normal, but my doctor is very concerned. I queried about the growing pains, as I have only just turned twenty, and about stress fractures because I was in the military for a short while. But neither seem to be the cause and I've been tested for arthritis multiple times through out my life due to various issues here and there. Every time it's negative, so those have been ruled out for me.

I feel your pain (no pun intended) and I sincerely hope they find out what is wrong soon! Keep me updated if you wish, it sounds very similar to what I'm experiencing so it would be great to know what you're diagnosed with- or vica versa- it may help!

My doctor told me this is normal and everyone has it. She said it is just growing pains, I am 31 years old and have yet to meet anyone of any age that experiences this. My specialist told me to take it back to my primary, because it is not normal and needs to be investigated. I had issues with primaries ignoring symptoms years ago and suffered for eight years before being diagnosed. I figured if I can figure out what causes this I can go to specialist in that area and not suffer. I do not believe it is leukemia, because I have had blood work earlier this year and nothing was wrong. I will be going in, but I was hoping to be informed first. Sadly that help in my last diagnosis. Thanks for replying and I wish you remission very soon.

Hi:  Do not try to diagnose yourself.  I do have Leukemia, and had no symptoms at all.  I just went for some routine blood work, and due to a elevated white count and some other abnormal numbers they did further testing on me which included a bone marrow biopsy.
If I did not have my routine blood work, I do not know how they would have found it.
You could have something very simple like Arthritis.  You did not mention seeing a doctor.Make an appointment for a regular physical including complete blood work, and see what is going on.
