Is there any evidence connecting high unexplained childhood fever with later CLL?

Hi. Childhood fever has so many possible causes.  Although chronic lymphocytic leukemia may have fever as one of its symptoms, high fever by itself is not specific for CLL.

Hi. I've searched the literature and as far as I can tell, there's no correlation between the incidence of CLL and a history of unexplained childhood fever in the remote past. But as I've said in my earlier post, high fever can be one of the symptoms of an ongoing leukemia.
