Could it be lymphoma?

I have been feeling ill for 5months. I have lost 13lbs, have constant low grade fever, body aches all over, tachycardia. I have had 3 chest x-rays, ct scan of head, chest, abdomen, and pelvis. EGD. Bloodwork which included esr, c-reactive protein, cbc, spep. Tested for lyme, EBV,HIV Everything has come back normal. I now have noticed a lump on the right side of my neck. It is about the size of an almond and seems to be able to move around when touched. Is it possible to have lymphoma with no other signs of swollen lymph nodes on my cat scans? I have experience about 3 episodes of night sweats about 1 month ago.

Sometimes the Oncs take a watch and wait approach to lymphoma and if your symptoms are consistant with lymphoma then maybe you should try again to go back to the doctor after a few weeks and see what has happened.  Usually a simple chest x-ray can catch it.  Sounds like you are having some lymphedema in your face.  Sometimes it takes going to a different doctor or seeing a hematologist/oncologist or someone who specializes in lymphoma.  Not sure how your insurance works but sometimes you do not need a referral from you PCP to go to a specialist.  All I know is that you need to be vigulant with your health and you know better than anyone how you feel and I would suggest keep going until you get some answers.  Lymphoma is often misdiagnosed for one because it is so rare.  It represents one percent of all cancers.  Only approx 7,000 people per year will get this cancer, so I think doctors are not particularly looking for that.  Hope things get better for you.

I have excatly the same symtoms as you do.  I have had every test that you had.  I still don't feel good and I am still running a low grade fever and I get night sweats and I have a lump in my neck.  It is very frustrating and I want to feel better.  I am going to keep on going to the doc until she gives me some kind of answer.  Lately my face has been swelling just under my eyes I'm getting little pockets of water, what is that??? It's all scary and I'm tired of it.  I hope I find out what it is so I can tell you.
