Thanks for your comments Joana. I think you're right and the doctors have pretty much been telling me the same thing which is good to know and very reassuring :). I just need to put more trust in the health experts.
Hey! The fact that the lymph node swelled while you were fighting off acute bronchitis and that it hasn't grown any bigger in the past 6 months is reassuring. If it's palpable, that's also another good thing (like you touch it and can move it around). Sometimes lymph nodes stay swollen for a long time (even forever) after fighting off an infection; i have one like that on my neck right now. As long as it doesn't keep growing it's a good sign. Also, 10 months in you should have at least some other symptoms if it were lymphoma, such as night sweats, itchiness, weakness, unexplained weight loss...What's making it difficult for you to fight all those viruses off is probably the fact that you've been catching them all. Also, the bronchitis may have weakened your immune system slightly. I am not a doctor, but I am just giving you the information that I know. Best of luck!!
