I have a mass under my jaw that extends a bit to my ear, could this be lymphoma?

I have a mass under my jaw. At first, I thought it was a swelling lymph node since I had dry eyes 4 months ago. The right swelling was gone but the left swelling is still present. I've not been so bothered until I noticed that it's a bit harder than the usual tender swelling of the lymph nodes. I read that another symptoms of lymphoma is itching all over one's body. I get itchy sometimes but not all over my body. I don't see signs other than those I have mentioned. Please help me.

Thank you for your response. I really appreciate it. I consulted a doctor like a month ago. She specializes in family medicine. She checked the mass and said she doesn't think it's a swollen lymph node due to infection. She advised me to consult an ENT doctor. And that, I haven't done yet. Should I consult an ENT doctor or go directly with the lab tests? What should I do? Although the mass has decreased in size and is not that obvious, I'm still bothered ever since I read something about lymphoma. I'm kinda worried too because I have just resigned from my job so I don't have health benefits and the like anymore. I bet it's gonna cost me a fortune.

Have you consulted a doctor about this and if so have you had any blood tests done? I have a similar problem. I'm not a doctor but my experience has been and what my doctors have said:

My right submandibular lymph node has been swollen for almost a year - it started at less than 0.5cm and according the last ultrasound it was 3.8cm, the left one is slight smaller at 3cm and I've got smaller ones in my armpit region and groin. My Doctor sent me onto a haematologist as I had a low white blood cell count, anaemia and other problems like night sweats and itching (generally only my legs). My haematologist and ENT surgeon have decided it's time to do a full excisional biopsy, which I am having in 2 weeks time and as far as I am aware (from what my doc says), lymphoma can only be ruled out or confirmed with a biopsy. My lymph nodes are all firmish and non tender (only painful when they are growing) generally tender and painful lymph nodes are from infection.
