Question about friends son

An employee of mine went to the hospital last night with his 18 year old son with nose bleeds that they couldnt stop.
His wbc was very high and they think it might be Leukemia. Do any of these symtoms (symptoms) sound familier and if he does have it is there any cures or treatmants? By the way he is also a twin if that makes any difference.
Thank you for any information you can give me.

Hi.
I think the diagnosis of leukemia should be first established before any treatment should be instituted.  For acute leukemia, typical signs and symptoms include fatigue, weight loss, easy bruisability, bleeding, anemia, and pallor. Treatment of leukemia differs between the types.  Chemotherapy and bone marrow transplantation are the most common treatment modalities employed.
Good luck.
