What does this CT scan finding mean?

I got this finding from a neck CT scan:

Multicompartmental sub cm reactive adenopathy without evidence of necrotic lymph nodes.

What does that mean? Is it something to worry about?

I have cancer in the thyroid gland.

This could be more than one thing. No evidence of necrosis could mean that it didn't collapse. Reactive adenopathy means a lymph node is swollen in response to something. That could either be viral, bacterial, or from the thyroid cancer.

Does the CT report say anything else? What has your doctor said? Can you feel the swollen node? If so, how does it feel and where is it located?

Even if it is from the cancer, it is still considered highly treatable in most cases. What type of thyroid cancer do you have?
