White Blood Count

What is the white count suppose to be for normal person and what are the danger for low wbc
Avatar_n_tn
Hi.
What is the result of your differential count?
Normal white blood cell count would fall in the range of 4.3-10.8 x 10(9)/L.
A decreased white blood cell count would place one to be prone to infections, especially opportunistic infections.  Depending on the cause, this should be addressed promptly.
