im back and i need some help...

well im back again. i went to the doctor for my armpit lumps and he didnt seem to concerned and said it seemed like a skin infection not lymph nodes. so he gave me amoxicilin (sp?) and said to come back if it didnt go away. thankfully they had both gone down to almost nothing. and im pretty sure that they are still almost nothing but curiosity has gotten the best of me and i have started checking constantly to make sure they are still small which they are. but im not sure if its starting to grow again.

my question is if it was a cancerous lymph node would regular medicine have been strong enough to shrink it and then made it possibly grow again?? the medicine was only for 7 days. and just to be clear, im not sure if the lumps have actually started growing again, maybe just me being paranoid. and WHAT ARE A NORMAL SIZE FOR LYMPH NODES CONSIDERED NORMAL??

Did anyone suggest maybe some clogged sweat glands in the armpit.  I do not think you have anything to worry about.  You took the antibiotic, and if it reduced the swelling then it is some type of infection dermatitis.  Do not look for something that is probably not there.
Just keep an eye on the situation, and if they come back then follow up again.
You can make yourself crazy with worry

Yes, These sound like some sort of skin infection, Are they red?  Normal lymph nodes can be up to 1cm in the armpit like the size of an m&m or a bean. Soft, movable and non painful.  If they have went down a bit and not gotten bigger I would not worry about them

well the 2nd lump that had came up to the surface of the skin had gone down and went away because of the medication. it eventually ended up looking like a pimple with a lump directly underneath the skin in the same area. but now it just feel like a tiny swelling underneath. no lump can be felt. good thing!!

now im back to the original lump which i only noticed by chance in march. upon noticing it, it was the size of a marble. now i would say about the size of a corn, if not smaller. i think my mind is starting to think its grown a little tho. but i have been grabbing it and holding it up to a ruler. it hasnt grown since shrinking to the corn size it is now compared to the ruler. and on the ruler is it a little smaller than 1cm. BUUTTT, just a question because im not quite sure what a CM equals. is 1cm = 1/2inch?? if so then im looking at it correct on the ruler and everything should be good.

1 cm is roughly a 1/2''  Just keep an eye on it, Sounds like it is shrinking. Thats a good sign
