lump on back of my head.

I have a small lump on the back of my head..

i have had it for like 5 or so months.. its sore if i touch on it for a while it has not grown in size or anything.. i dont know if i should be worried or not..

I have 4 lumps on my head that are small, but vary in size. The biggest, which is on top of my head, is about the size and shape of an orange seed. I first noticed it about 2 years ago when it became sore to the touch. To make a long story short, it ruptured on its own. I later found out it was a cyst-- nothing serious, but very irritating to deal with. I am not saying what you have is a cyst, because I am no medical professional. The best advise I can give you is to have it checked out just to be sure. Good luck!

Hi:  It could be cysts like the other post back to you suggested.  I get head cysts constantly.  Its a lump and it feels sore.  Usually you can move it a little bit, and sometimes they fill up, and then go back down.  I have a big one right now, and I have had them removed so many times.  If its a cyst you have nothing to worry about.
I wish mine would rupture so I could get rid of it.  It is caused by a blocked hair follicle, and some people are very prone to getting them.
    See your doctor, and ask them to examine it.  Its just a pain to take the time to go have it removed.  Having it removed is no big deal either.
