lymphoma and titanium connection

is there any research out there connecting titanium plates/anchors to lymphoma or other cancers

I have not heard of that connection.  There is still no hard science out there that proves what causes Lymphoma, but it is highly suspected that herbicides, pesticides, and harsh chemicals found in hair dyes and some deodorants can cause Lymphoma.  I can only assume that there are other chemicals out there that could possibly cause Lymphoma that hasn't been discovered yet, and Titanium may be one of them.

Hello there,

        Well, maybe one of the doctors and tell us more information.  I had several neck surgeries and a titanium plates were used.  
The first surgery I was fused at 3/4 and 4/5 and the donor bond crumbled and caused problems to the lower disk.
My doctor performed another surgery and used my own bone and titanium plates.  I'm fused 4 through 7 with an additional wire for support in the back of the neck.
         I had the plates for about a year and started having breathing problem.  The doctor finally removed the titanium and my condition improved.  
         I came down with Cancer in December of 2004.  I had a large tumor under the chest, around my throat and the main arteries in the neck.  Scared.. you bet.     Surgery was performed and the chest tumor was removed but the doctor left the remaining.   Just too dangerous to remove.
Received Chemo for 6 months and Rad...   Went into remission for 4 years
and returned in October 2008 as NHL.  

I fell their is a connection with titanium and my cancer exposure.
