Hi.
Based on what you have posted, I don't think it is cancer or anything deadly.
However, you still need to consult your physician for proper evaluation.
so you do not think it is cancer or anything deadly?
Hi.
Acute or chronic infections can also make the lymph nodes palpable, sometimes tender to touch.
It is very difficult to arrive at a diagnosis without the benefit of physical examination and laboratory work-ups.
Do not worry too much and try to relax.
no other symptoms. i do not feel lymph nodes there. what other diseases could it be. or do you think it is probably nothing serious? i am a bit of a hypochondriac that is why i ask. i need some peace of mind.
Hi.
What you are experiencing could just be muscle pain, and can be relieved with pain relievers (analgesics)
Do you have palpable lymph nodes in your inguinal region?
Lymphomas usually present with chronic, palpable, non-tender nodes. The nodes could be in the head and neck, chest, axilla, intraabdominal, and inguinal areas.
Do you have other symptoms (like weight loss, fever, sweating) aside from pain?
It would be best to seek consult with your physician for proper evaluation as there are disease conditions presenting with pain with intermittent changes in the groin nodes.
Good luck..
