Hi,
Thank you for your comments. I am having an ultrasound of my spleen tomorrow as well as more blood work, so hopefully will know more soon. Have the docs appointment on Wednesday morning :o)
Thanks again
Hello and welcome. I'm not very good at interpreting labs since I'm not a doctor but some of your symptoms (enlarged nodes, weight loss, fatigue and night sweats) do mimic lymphoma. However, with lymphoma, the symptoms are usually more severe than that. For example, the weight loss is is usually more extreme, at least 10% of your total body weight in 6 months. I'm assuming 22 kg isn't 10% for you? Also, night sweats tend to be drenching.
Did they measure your LDH levels or WBC levels? Elevated levels of LDH can mean lymphoma, but it can also be an indicator of other things going on. Low WBC levels can also be an indicator of cancer. These tests are helpful for a doctor who suspect cancer, but the only true way to diagnose it is with a lymph node biopsy.
