swollen mesenteric lymph nodes

I am a 31yr old mother of two with chronice abdominal symptoms for 7 months.  Originally diagnosed as IBS but after two months on meds with no relief i stopped taking them.  About three months ago the pain started getting worse.  Went for CT and found enlarged abdominal lymph nodes, ovarian cyst and a 7-8mm hypodensity on my spleen.  Dr takes wait and see approach and wants to repeat CT in three months.  Well 3 weeks ago i would up with severe RLQ pain and went to ER where they did another CT to rule out appy.  Turns out there is a new "cluster of swollen lmesenteric lymph nodes.

Symptoms are: extremely tired all the time.  I almost fall asleep in the car and at my desk. And bowel problems.  Severe diarrhea and then constipation.

just looking for any help!

one more thing.....I am scheduled for exploratory lap on 8/28.  I am just nervous of what they are looking for.  Imaging shows no organ involvment and WBC is only slightly elevated.  What else can be causing these swollen lymph nodes?

Does anyone have any experience with this sort of thing?  Unexplained swollen mesenteric lymph nodes?  I would love some input.

Thank you

Good doctor, how do you deterine who is worthy of a response and who is not? Just wondering what it takes to get someone to pay attention to your posts on this forum!

Has your doctor suggested doing a biopsy on the enlarged lymph nodes? A ct scan I had two years ago showed I had multiple enlarged lymph nodes in the mesentery which, when biopsied, confirmed I had lymphoma. I have a similar pain to yours in the left lower pelvis but, as my lymph nodes are no longer enlarged due to treatment, I have no idea what is now causing my pain. I hope you find answers soon.
