Are liver cysts painful?

I've been feeling not so well for about a year. A lot of stomach pain, can't really pinpoint any foods that cause the pain as one day it is ok to eat something that may have bothered me before. I have yellow loose stools. Feel tired alot and often get headaches. My hands and feet swell as the day goes on and get pretty itchy. Was told my gallbladder looks normal ( had ct scan with contrast injection) but was asked to come back for an ultrasound I did, which apparently showed enlarged bile ducts, Doc ordered a MRCT which apparently showed multiple liver cysts I am currently waiting for an appt. with a Gastroenterologist, which while frustrating for me seems to be not such a big deal to the docs. Any ideas on what may be going on for me? Can liver cysts be the cause of my symptoms? Should I be seen sooner rather than later? Thanks!
