Burning liver pain

by PLENERO, Nov 03, 2009 02:25PM
I'm a 62 year old female...recently I'm experiencing a burning type of pain on my upper stomach area to the right side of the rib cage. Pain killers seems to be waring out of their effects. I had (2) CT scan (w/wo contrast) and they reveal several lessions looking spots on the liver. I'm scheduled for a biopsi soon. What can be the reasons for such lessions?  What are they, if not cancerous? and What wuold the tratment be?
