Diffuse increase in echogencity (fattyliver)

Hello !
I am 32years female, height5.2", weight 77kg, unmarried from India. I am under treatment since 2 years of Fatty liver with Hepatomegaly with increased in size of 16.4cm.
past:- I was 15yrs old when i faced typhoid and was recovered with alopathic in 1 month, just after the recovery i started gaining weight and became over weight.. 2 years back i suffer with gasteric pain in stomach and my stomach became very tight and gas use to outflow through mouth.. I went to homeopathic doctor (as alopathic medicine does not suitme), she advice me for ultrasound, liver function test, thyroid test, sugar and lipid profile test.
It came in view that Liver was enlarged (Rest organs are fine), TSH increased 7.4 (range 0.2--5.5), SGOT and SGPT was increased than normal range, increased cholestrol.
I am undertreatment since 2 years with homeopathic, the recovery is good and had lost 4 kgs, but still i want to find out the reason why report shows "diffuse increase in echogencity"? is it related with typhoid? and how much time liver will take to be in normal?
