Does a viral load of <43 mean you are cured of Hepatitis C?

5 months ago, my viral load was 2.65 million.  I started interferon/ribavarin treatments approximately 3-1/2 months ago.  My viral load today is <43 ... as the lab test used cannot measure lower than that figure.  I will continue my treatments for 9 more weeks (which will complete the 6 months course.)  I was diagnosed with Hep. C, genotype 2.
(1) Is there another quantative or qualatative test that can measure more accurately?
(2) Am I cured of further harm from Hep. C virus?
(3) What is the usual follow up for my most excellent outcome?
