Elevated Alkaline Phosphatase

by bkwdsarkie, Oct 26, 2009 03:47PM
Noticed several others with elevated Alkaline phosphatase also had thyroid disease and a noted cause was also noted as celiac sprue.  Is this common that all three would be true.  Is thyroid disease and celiac sprue indications of why the high alkaline phosphatase?  What are possible treatments if all are true?

I have celiac sprue, thyroid disease and have an elevated alkaline phosphatase and have an appointment to see a liver specialist soon. Just wondering if this is common.
