Elevated Liver Enzymes

by godbouta1, Sep 12, 2009 06:11PM
I went to the doctors because i had been sick for about a week with the flu.  They took blood work and it showed that i had elevated liver enzymes.  The doctor tested for hepetitis (hepatitis) and other things and nothing showed up.  I stopped drinking however i was wondering if smoking marijuana would negatively affect my liver at this point

Pure, organically grown marijuana does not directly damage the liver. It has the ability to speed up fibrosis in patients with hepatitis C. However marijuana is often spayed with chemicals. One in which is Miraclegro, since it is used in the late stages of plant growth. It has a very high concentration level. Long term exposure to the smoke of Miraclegro is:  liver damage, kidney damage, brain damage, central nervous system damage, as well as cancer of all the above. If you know that the marijuana doesn't contain any chemicals, then from what I've read your safe.

This is just my opinion.

Hope this is helpful
