Elevated Liver Levels

I have elevated liver levels of AST - 44 and ALT - 46.  Though those aren't extremely high, I have a sister with Stage IV cancer.  Her primary cancer is in the bile duct with metastasis to the liver.  When she originally got ill, the liver levels were what sent the warning flag.  

What test should I consider to follow up and make sure I'm not headed in the same direction?

I would discuss with your doctor an ultrasound, CT or MRI to begin with.  I do believe there is also a procedure where they go in via endoscope and can look at the bile ducts but I do not know the name of the procedure.  Write down all your questions, I have found with my docs that the more specific the question the easier time they acutally have answering it.
