Enlarged liver

Today I went to a "Minute Clinic"  because of a urinary tract infection and the doctor there remarked how enlarged my liver is. I have had compensated cirrhosis for five years and he said to see my gi doc, I have a call in to the office but it takes a day to hear back and I'm freaking out.
My ? Is: is it normal for the liver to be enlarged with this disease...
I maintain a good diet, no alcohol, and yearly checkups.
(Can't find a straight answer and googling gets scary)
Thanks in advance!

Hi Cindy -

Were you able to get the actual pathology report for your previous liver biopsy? The details may help us understand the nature of your liver disease. My biopsy data was very enlightening wrt the nature of my injuries.

Liver disease can be caused by Celiac disease.  I hear from people who were accused of having an alcohol problem and it turned out their liver disease was from Celiac.  You would have to stop eating gluten, but the first step is to get tested for Celiac with blood tests.

Try not to worry, palpation of the liver is very subjective. Following up isn't a bad idea, but not urgert. This doctor is not right.
