Hi my name is gurpreet singh. I am suffering from grande 1 fatty liver. A week ago i go fibro scan and the result was not good in that report left side it is approx 256 and right side 9% i don't know what is that. My question is fatty liver recover as like healthy liver again...i am only 30...male.....and i am very tanse

can you reverse FLD or other diseases really with milk thistle or choline/inositol?  I read online that milk thistle can lower AST/ALT levels

Hi there,
Fibroscan uses ultrasound waves to detect cirrhosis in early stages. The results are displayed as readings rather than an image. They will help us show whether there are any regions of scarring and also how stiff your liver is.  A Fibroscan is usually carried out in combination with a panel of liver blood tests and the results should be discussed with a hepatologist and he will help you to understand your individual results. Only if fatty liver disease advances a person can develop cirrhosis .The process can stop and, in some cases, reverse on its own without specific therapy. Lifestyle changes may be helpful. Discuss it with a hepatologist.Keep me posted.
