Gall Stone in Liver Bile Duct?

I'm been having really bad gall bladder attacks and docs think that I may have a stone in the common bile duct of my liver now.  3 weeks ago I had blood work and everything was really badly out of wack. My liver enzymes went up to 277/266 and Bun/Creatinine test was circled on bloodwork paperwork. There were also 6 other flagged things along with my cholesterol numbers turning completely opposite.
So far I've been through bloodwork everyweek an ultra sound, an iv contrast catscan, an MRCP Liver MRI and now doc wants to do an endoscopic ultra sound?  I just can't believe he's still not saying that he saw a stone?  He is saying that there is dalitation of the liver duct maybe cause of passing a gall stone  I'm just Hoping that's all it is.
I'm just worried that it's affecting so many different things like the kidney's too.
Does all these tests sound neccessary to you to just find a stone?
