HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi, I am an18 year old male with high levels of Indirect Bilirubin (1.7mg/dL) and a high Total Bilirubin count at 2.0mg/dL.  I also have low levels of Vitamin D2 (25-Hydroxy) at <3 ng/mL and my Vitamin D3 (25-Hydroxy) is normal at 35 ng/mL, making my Vitamin D total  35 ng/mL.  My doctor said that it was probable that I had Gilbert's Syndrome, but does this explain my low vitamin D2 levels? I have also been suffering from anxiety, fatigue, cold/tingling sensations in my right leg and right forearm, lower back pain, trouble swallowing, and a sharp pain in the left side of my brain when I bend over, not to mention many other minor things.  I am extremely sick of dealing with these things and just want an answer as to what is causing all of these things. I am in complete desperation!!!!! help me!!!!!!!!!!!!!

First things first, try eliminating the Vitamin D deficiency by either supplementation 1,000-4,000 IU daily and/or get sun by tanning salons (not necessarily healthy) or real sunlight (better) daily. It takes several months to get your levels as Vitamin D is stored in the body. This could be either contributing or causing such things as fatigue. Now why you are low could be because you have of medications, ailments, lack of sun exposure etc. You can ask your doctor for recommendations or there are many great books and articles on Vitamin D. Understand though that Vitamin D levels are crucial for our health, energy, and treatment or prevention of depression.

It seems the Gilbert's Syndrome is some what benign that does not require treatment, but I personally always ask for treatment and advice from my naturopath.

I hope all will be better
