Helping my brother

I am trying to assist my brother in getting assistance. He has end stage liver disease.
He has had fluid drained 3 times in the last two mo. I am trying to get him some kind of assistance.
I am taking him to apply for snap food program tomorrow.
He has no insurance and can no longer work.
his wife is low income, on reduced hours, and unemployment.


Can you suggest a course of action, or group to contact we are in Saint Louis  Mo.

is he candidate for a liver transplant?  The best thing might be to get him hooked up with a liver transplant program and they can have their social workers help out.  you can contact dr kevin korenblat at Washington University or alex befeler at St Louis University.  they are both hepatologists.  good luck.
