High Gamma GT/ALT/AST

Hi, I am a 57year old man who does not smoke but enjoys his alcohol and does not exercise.
I do yearly blood tests to keep an eye on my liver. I have just got the results back from my latest tests and they read as follows:
Bilirubin conjugated = 6
Gamma GT = 101
ALT = 119
AST = 96
all the other tests were in the normal range.
What I would like to confirm is that if I reduce my alcohol intake drastically will these specific results and my liver come back to normal.
Thank you for your help in this matter, best regards  Mike Bussey

If your numbers are caused just by alcohol then there is a good chance they will normalise if you abstain.
You should be checked for hepatitis though.
