High SGPT, SGOT and GGT

Hello,

I am a 32 year old male. I just got my tests done (LFT) and the values for SGPT, SGOT and GGT were very high,
SGOT -- 100.1
SGPT -- 180.3
GGT -- 117.9

I do drink alcohol twice or thrice a week, i am not sure if that is the reason behind such elevated levels.

Please shed some light on this issue and what corrective measures should i take to get the elevated levels to normal. I have quit drinking for now.

Hi! How are you?! It's been 7 months. Is your GGT back to normal. I will like to share my experience after I gave birth my GGT shoot up to 600plus. In a span of 17 months of effort, it's now normal at 36. Now listen up. GGT does hint on mortality rate. To live longer, you must bring it down! How? Firstly, strictly no alcohol at all. Even outside, when buying soup or noodle etc, always check and make sure not even rice wine or any other alcohol content as many food comes with it. Takes high detox natural food w moderation. Example: beetroot, sweet potato, vegetable, avocardo, pineapple. Keep a calendar track what you eat. Try doing your GGT every month the reading. With the calendar you will know which bring up and down reading. Anything else let me know and pls work hard for good health. If I can do it, so can anyone. Remember tentatively to detox no msg no salt no sugar try to ensure, can you do your IT.

Hi I'm sorry you have been waiting. I am sick today so not much good at answering questions. Your numbers are high, alcohol could cause the high number if you drank before the blood work.  If not I would stop drinking, increase your water intake, read the below post and recheck your numbers in a few months.  Any medication could also cause the numbers to be so high.  We aren't doctors here just fellow patients trying to help each other.  Keep in mind, everything you eat, drink, put on your skin has to be processed by the liver.  Good luck! I will check in as soon as possible. Take Care, Dee
