HighSerum Total Bilirubin and Serum Albumin

Hello!! I am 53, rather obese and suffering from high blood pressure - am taking Eziday, Lowplat, Lipiget, Lodopin and Concor as advised by doctor.
Recently I had my LFT and other tests done. My Serum Total Bilirubin turned out to be 17 (range 3-17) and Serum Albumin 49 (35-50). My ALT is 34 and Serum Alkaline Phosphate 265.

Is this cause of concern?
Is it becuase of the medicines I am taking?
Or is it becasue of the obesity?
Please advise.

I would voice your concerns to your doctor. Anthing within normal range sounds great to ME (liver disease person) but you never know if it's something that could continue to elevate. It's true that many drugs are really harsh on your liver. Perhaps your doctor and you could discuss your meds with that angle and maybe even change them up. There are drugs out there that are metabolized in the kidneys and not the liver and (supposedly) these are 'nicer' to it. Also, it's best really not to drink at all when your on meds as it turns into a a little toxic grenade.

Take care,
Nicole
