I was just diagnosed with a fatty liver!

I had an Ultrasound to check my gallbladder and the  radiologist reported back I have a fatty liver and everything else what good. All my liver blood work is good. I am overweight but never drink or smoke. My sugar is good and  cholesterol is good. What does this mean for me? Will I be able to reverse the damage and how will I know if it has progressed to inflammation or scar tissue damage? I go to the dr on Monday but really freaking out. I'm 37 yrs old. Thanks for any information.

I have been told the same. I'm 35 and scared. I have all the skin symptoms for liver disease. Every last one of them.

My report says "diffuse increased echogenicity of the liver suggesting hepatocelluar disease likely caused by fatty liver"...

When the Drs office called me to give me the results they gave me no information except you have a fatty liver probably caused by my weight and diet but that if I was still having abdominal pain they could refer me to see a gastro. I accepted and am set up for the 16th of next month....

I hope things work out for you ((hugs))
