@skybrekel - Hi! Treatment is still going on. Doc has prescribed my friend Reheptin, Evion LC, and pantocid he is taking these medicines for more than 4 months. He is feeling better but at the end of the first month of treatment LFT was done and SGPT was even more elevated than the initial LFT, cholesterol was also elevated. Next LFT will be done this week. How about your health?
Thank you doctor! My NAFLD (grade 3) suffering friend has taken a Norflox TZ tablet, will it harm him? What to do now?
Hi ive been diagnosed with fatty liver couple days now. How has it ben so far any improvements??
Hi,
What are the symptoms present? Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, refers to a wide range of conditions caused by a build-up of fat within the liver cells. The presence of fibrosis, seen in stage 3 is associated with persistent inflammation in the liver which results in the generation of fibrous scar tissue around the liver cells and blood vessels. This fibrous tissue replaces some of the healthy liver tissue, but there is still enough healthy tissue for the liver to continue to function normally. It is important that you check with your attending physician for proper management. Simple fatty liver may go away if the underlying cause is managed. Lifestyle changes is highly recommended to prevent the disease progressing to a more serious stage. Losing weight, smoking cessation, avoiding alcohol and taking medication may help. Take care and do keep us posted.
