Large Liver Mass

US and CT show a large mass on my liver(17x12x10 cm). A biopsy shows cirrhosis but nothing about the mass?
GE is puzzled recommends going toCleveland Clinic?????

Thanks so much for your reply.  The biopsy said cirrhosis and no mention of the large mass.  My GE does not believe the biopsy. He said they could have missed the mass??? He is not sure ho since it is s large, but not sure of the biopsy.  I have appts at Cleveland Clinic on 6/28/12.  Hopefully, I'll get definite answers and a plan of treatment .  Will keep you posted.

Hope the biopsy was taken from the mass. You should have yourself evaluated at a tertiary center that specializes in liver disorders. And Good Luck!
