Liver Hemangioma

I now have a 7cm liver hemangioma  I am 5' 2", lost 15 lbs last summer due to nausea and no appetite. I weigh 104 lbs. now.  What is the best way to treat this hemangioma?  I read a 2004 blog that mentioned Dr. Fred Lee at the Univ. of Wisconsin using a Radiofrequency Ablation machine with three probes that removes the hemangioma (less anesthesia and less risk) versus surgery?

Did you have the radio frequency ablation done? I'm researching options for my 14 cm hemangioma. If so, did it work or what did you do?

It grew from 4-5cm to 7cm from 2001 to 2008 or less.  I didn't have it checked again until 2008. My gastroenterologist is very concerned because I'm so tiny, 5' 2", 103 lbs., great shape, but concerned about complications and growth down the road.  He wants me to see the head surgeon at the Univ. of Miami for a consult. He feels that this is complicated and serious.  My gastro doc in 2001 in NM considered it serious back in then also.
I read about Dr. Lee and radiofrequency ablation at the U of Wisconsin.  I spoke with his secy this morning & he actually called me back and left a message while I was out this evening.
According to the Mayo Clinic online, nausea, loss of appetite, feeling full after having only eaten a small amt of food are some symptoms.

Is this hemangioma growing in size? has the Doc indicated removal?  I have read hemangiomas are quite common, and most arent cause for concern, and are asymptomatic.  RF and Laser ablation are common means of removing them (radiofrequency probably moreso for embedded ones).

Has your Doc indicated that He/SHe feels the cause of nausea (and resultant weight loss) to be a result of this???
