Liver-friendly sleep aid?

I'm looking for a relatively mild, non-habit-forming, liver-friendly sleep aid, either prescription or over-the-counter.  Is there anything out there that you all have had success with?  Thanks much in advance.

It's tricky, that's probably why no one has responded. On one hand, sleeping pills are habit forming and may mask a deeper problem (ie insomnia can actually be a mild symptom of encephalopathy in cirrhosis patients), but, on the other hand, I'm sure there are some liver safe sleep aids. However, I don't know what they are since I was told to wait out the insomnia from my cirrhosis (and it did go away). Sorry that was totally no help, but just wanted to respond. Take care!

I see there are no responses after this has been posted a few days.  I guess I should conclude there may not be any liver-safe sleep aids out there?
