Liver lesion

My partner has just had a liver biopsy which showed up some lesions. I don't understand what this means - He is currently under treatment for myloid leukemia.  Does having liver lesions mean he might possibly have cancer in the liver? We will not find out the reults until Monday or Tuesday, but I am beside myself with worry and was hoping you could throw some light on the subject now.

Don't get worked up or start worrying for nothing. You wont know for sure until you get the test back. But, the lesions could just be scar tissue. Other lesions are usually hemangiomas, or a non-cancerous tumor. If this is the case, once it is confimed and there no physical problems. They usually do not require follow up. But consult with his physician on his individual case.
